Celebrating 25 years online!
Crazy as it sounds, All About Jazz turned 25 today. What started as a fun hobby on August 15, 1995 is becoming a life's work and the good news is AAJ is far from a finished product. Thank you, Lawrence!
We plan to celebrate throughout the remainder of the year and keep the party rolling well into 2021.
I'll leave you with this... shortly after I launched All About Jazz and shortly after the book The Golden Age of Jazz was published, famed jazz photographer William P. Gottlieb sent me an autographed copy that I cherish to this day. Bill passed in 2006.
You can learn more about The Golden Age of Jazz here.
And for a complete blast from your past, All About Jazz's original logo was a cartoon character I created years before the website. What ever happened to the little trumpet playing jazz dude?
