Dave Clark

Steeped in the vibrant musical traditions of the West Coast and the Deep South, Dave Clark is an American jazz guitarist and composer, now based in the Netherlands. Originally trained in the classical tradition, Dave's reputation stems from his virtuosic solo performances of jazz standards that feature intricate harmonies and expansive improvisation. Drawing inspiration from his mentor Mimi Fox, Dave's arrangements echo her style, while his blues-infused sound resonates with the spirit of Grant Green. Since 2014 he has been a sought-after collaborator in the San Francisco Bay Area, lending his talents on guitar and bass to various small ensembles. www.reverbnation.com/daveclark
