Dave Welsch

Composer, orchestrator, and performer David Welsch has been working as a professional musician for over 50 years. and recently composed music for 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Victor Wooten's audio book, The Spirit of Music: The Lesson Continues. Dave also provided the voice for one of the characters and mixed and mastered the audio book at his DayGig Music- Studio D.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Dave has toured internationally with the Victor Wooten Band. He is an instructor at Victor Wooten’s Center For Music and Nature and has been on its management staff since its inception. He recently composed and performed music for 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Victor Wooten's audio book, The Spirit of Music: The Lesson Continues. Dave also provided the voice for one of the characters and mixed and mastered the audio book at his DayGig Music- Studio D.

As an educator, he instills a love of music, appreciation for art forms, thirst for knowledge, and growth as an individual. Drawing on his experience teaching and performing with some of the world's most respected musicians, Dave offers students a unique perspective on music performance, theory, improvisation, and composition, while creating a fun and exciting learning environment.

Dave is a BMI artist and publisher and is a member of the American Federation of Musicians.
