At 18 years hold, he starts the class of Saxophone with Mario Raja at the Conservatory F.Morlacchi of Perugia, where he graduated in 2007, obtaining the highest marks (10/10). In September 2007 he moved to Netherlands in the city of The Hague to gets a specialization at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag. Here, he has the opportunity to study with one of the greatest european musicians: the american saxophonist and clarinetist John Ruocco.
In 2013 he completed his studies and he obtained a Master's degree in Jazz Saxophone. He also studied with David Liebman, John Ellis, Barry Harris, Simon Righter, Max Ionata, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Rosario Giuliani, Bob Mover, Tivonne Pennicott, Mike Manieri, Teddy Charles, Greg Hutchinson, Gilad Hekselman, Joshua Redman, Aaron Parks, Chris Cheek, Reggie Workman, Billy Harper, Joel Frahm, Donny McCaslin , Udo Van Boven, Erik Doelman and many others.Among the most important collaborations includes musicians such as: Steve Grossman, Andy Gravish, Reggie Workmam, Billy Harper, Ack van Rooyen, Eric Ineke, John Ruocco, Bert Joris, Jean Louis Rassinfosse, Nicola Andreoli, Jean Paul Estievenart, Peter Vermeersch, Erik Dooelman, Daniele Tittarelli, Francesco Satolli , Carlo Atti, Mauro Verrone, Joe LaBarbera, Armando Luongo, Domenico Sanna, Rosario Giuliani, Luca Fattorini, Igor Spallati, Ugo Alunni, Rodolfo Neves, Daniele Cappucci, Lorenzo Agnifili, Angelo Lazzeri, Antonello Sorrentino, Enrico Zanisi, Pietro Cincaglini, Alessandro Bravo, Nicola Sergio, Marco Collazzoni , Gwilym Simcock, Norma Winstone, Sid Jacobs, Marco Tamburini, Rosario Bonaccorso, Adam Pache, Vincenzo Florio, Marco Bardoscia, Mario Raja, Maurizio Giammarco, Claudio Filippini, A. Awards
In September 2015 he relised his first album as leader ''Disorder at the Border'' with great musicians as Nicola Andrioli on piano, Armando Luongo on drums and Jean-Louis Rassinfosse on bass (and as Special Guest, John Ruocco on tenor sax and clarinet and Rodolfo Neves on trumpet). In September 2017 comes out the second album as leader of his 4tet ''Le Voyage'', homage to the music of Salvatore Adamo, arranged by Lorenzo Agnifili, with special Guest Jean Paul Estievenart on trumpet. He wins numerous awards including the European Jimmy Woode Award 2012-Tuscia in Jazz Fest-Best for Best Saxophonist and Best Group. He gets to the final at the Rotary Jazz Award 2012 and the Fara Sabina Jazz Competition 2009-2011. He plays in important festivals and clubs such as North Sea Jazz Fest, The Hague Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Terni in Jazz, Duke Jazz Festival, Jazz Chili, Gray Cat Jazz Fest, Casa del Jazz in Rome, Tuscia in Jazz, Jazz Fara, Grand Tour Jazz fest , Macerata Jazz Fest, Victoria Jazz Festival, Gezzziamoci in Matera, Pinocchio Jazz Club, Urbino Jazz Club, Sounds Jazz Club, Music Village Jazz Club, Padova Jazz Festival, Italian Jazz Festival in Bruxelles and many mores. He performs in Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Finland, NYC, UK. Since September 2013 he lives Brussels, where he works with various groups as a leader and as a sideman.
