Over the next two weeks we'll explain how to customize your content experience by following musicians and writers at All About Jazz. "MY AAJ" has existed for years, but we're adding new functionality and raising its profile to help you quickly find the information you value most. This week, we'll explain how to follow our staff.

Following AAJ Writers

Once you follow a staff writer, All About Jazz will notify you via website message when they are published.

  • You can follow a writer by clicking their name or photo in their byline, then clicking FOLLOW ME (see below).
  • There's also a FOLLOW ME button on their member page (example).
  • You can quickly follow several staff writers by signing in, clicking "Hi, Your Name," selecting "Update Settings," clicking the "Preferred Content" tab, scrolling down, checking the boxes next to the writer's name and clicking the green SUBMIT button.
  • Lastly, you can follow writers from the Our Staff page and from the Most Followed Staff Writers page.
Articles published by writers you follow will also appear on your MY ARTICLES page and MY REVIEWS page.
