The Dallas Jazz Band

Dallas-Fort Worth trumpeter Chuck Fesperman began his musical career in North Carolina. He performed with Bill Hanna's Charlotte All-Star Jazz Band while in high school. He studied Music Education at Appalachian State University and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Chuck served in the U.S. Coast Guard and during that time he performed with the Coast Guard Training Center Bands in Cape May, NJ and Petaluma, CA. After his military service, he performed with regional bands, including The Memphis All-Stars, The Herb Williams Band, The Mob City Swingsters and also with the late Marcel Evans (formerly with The Drifters). He has played throughout the USA and Caribbean, as well as on cruise ships. Chuck has studied jazz improvisation with smooth jazz trumpet artist Rick Braun, and also with the great jazz educator, Dan Hearle.

Chuck currently resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Chuck leads The Dallas Jazz Band and performs in clubs and restaurants, as well as private parties, weddings, corporate events, and festivals. The band plays jazz standards, smooth jazz, blues, latin, and pop/R&B.
